A Police State

February 1, 2006 / by longthought

If you don't believe we live in a police state just watch CNN this evening. The police have shot a Military MP three times for trying to stand up. They are also showing some other examples of out and out POLICE BRUTALITY.  Ladies and gentlemen these are no longer ISOLATED incidents in America. they are happening everyday. We are now living in a POLICE STATE and half of you want to give up more of your RIGHTS to the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT. Shame on you. We need to fight for every right we have. We're gonna need them more and more in the future.

Wait until it happens to you or someone you care about and then let's see how you feel. In the mean time keep your head in the sand.[COOL]

I can't believe how people just seem to don't understand that this is about them, too. In every dictatorship the game is to kill/disable the outliers, then control everyone close to the throne. They aren't exempt, their day is coming, and there will be no one left to fight for them. This is so incredibly distressing....

[SMILE] Good post. Police brutality is a major concern.

all part of the imperial presidency plan started by Nixon (or before) and now carried on at full speed by the Bush administration.
